BPIS BBPIS BBPISS BIS GCH BASSETACRES NOT JUST EYE CANDY "RIESEN" UKC CH BIS MRBIS
Riesen turned 2 years old March 2026 and is Tootsie and Boris beautiful son. He he had a very promising puppy show career win a Best Baby Puppy in Show is first show and a Best Puppy in Show and some group placements over mature accomplished dogs and earned his Canadian Champion in his first show as a 6 month old puppy. Riesen won a Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show at 11 months old in the UKC. He is now a GCH and has his UKC championship all before 18 months old. This year he has started the show season with a UKC RBIS. We went down to the US last fall and he got both his majors and we hope to achieve his AKC Championship this year.
That aside he a sweet and fun loving boy. I am excited and proud that he is part of the future of Basset Acres. He is a sweet gentle soul and my favorite dog I have ever had the pleasure to show.

CUBA TORNADO ERBEN "KOOBIE"
This big squishy boy joined us from Czech in October. He was born May 2025
Koobie is sweet and ALWAYS happy! Proudly co owned with Denise from Old Barn Bassets
He will make his show debut with me in March.

ALISSTERA ZHOLL ZHOL "WALTER"
Walter came to us in June of 2023 from Czech. He had a hard time adjusting to the long trip and change and therefore we made the decision to not plan on showing Walter here in Canada though he had a successful show career in the UK. He is a big boy and is truly bred for purpose as he is agile and loves to cover ground on nature walks thru the brush. Walter loves to play fetch and catch treats in the air. He is a kind goofy and gentle soul. However, he still take a few minutes to warm up to strangers.
Walter is reitring with a wonderful family in BC.

BIS GCHB KOLANI HARDY D'ONER "BORIS"
Boris joined our hound family from Russia. He is a busy boy full of love. This lovely boy earned his Championship in one show and blew us away winning Best of Breed over a very accomplished multi titled basset as a puppy. I am having a blast showing him, he is winning and loves showing. He was in the top bassets in Canada for 4 years in a row and has his Grand Championship Bronze. He a cool boy! He won his first Best in Show in 2023. Boris is enjoying retirement with a family and two fur brothers. He enjoys visiting the seniors at the long term care facilities near his home.
I have decided not to show Boris as a veteran this year.

CH UKRAINIAN BOMOND FOKUS POKUS "HENDRIX"
Hendrix is from the Ukraine and joined us in the summer of 2017 with Nadiya. He is just a great big teddy bear. His small show career was amazing. He is a Canadian Champion. I love this boy and we carry on his lines in Malibu as he is her great grandfather. Hendrix is enjoying retirement with a great family and has been retired and is neutered .

CHARLEY OD BEROUNKY "DUDLEY"
In Loving Memory....His Legacy lives on here at Basset Acres. Dudley passed away April 2020
Imported from Czech Republic as a puppy he lived a happy life with us until he passed away He was an amazing boy and is definitely part of the family and a huge part of our breeding program and he is on many of the pedigrees we have here. I did not show my dogs for the first 10 years we raised basset hounds so Dudley never achieved any titles.
We just loved this big boy! We are very proud to have him as part of our foundation bloodines. There is one frozen breeding that we will try in the future.
